Inside the house

Alot of you have been asking to see pictures of the inside of our house. I have hesitated to post them because I haven't had a chance to put my personal touches on the house yet and I have boxes still to unpack, but I decided to show you anyways and later I will put on the after pictures. So keep this in mind while viewing.

Sorry the pictures are a little chaotic, but it took too long to add them all to my blog. I'm too tired to organize them, besides I'm planning to add pictures later of the finished house.

The Long awaited Car

The long awaited car is here...We finally got our second car. A convertible mini Cooper. It has made life a little easier for me and for Milan. I don't spend my day driving and Milan can go to work on his own schedule instead of depending on the public transportation system to get him to work. We have had so much fun driving with the top down, Milan especially loves the feel of the wind blowing through his beautiful long hair, oh wait, that would be me.

We recently did a little yard work. Of coarse I take no credit for anything done outside the home since I am definately not a green thumb. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

We also took more pictures of Payton so everyone can see her growning. She also has made a friend here too, Kiera. Kiera is one day older than Payton.

Fun at our house

We wanted to see what Payton would look like with hair so I used my hair to make a wig for her. Isn't she so cute, okay maybe it looks a little goofy.

Ethan likes costumes and to dress up so when you get bored and need a costume what do you do...well Ethan gets creative and uses the first thing he can find, a cereal box. He called it his knights hat and sword.

Carson is very flexible, like his mom, and likes to put his feet behind his head. Aunt Annie used to do this all the time so I think that's where he learned to do it, Thanks Annie.

We really do have better things to do with our time, but this was more fun.

Our Home

The long awaited picture of our home has finally been taken. We finally moved into our home a week ago and have been very busy unpacking. I feels like the boxes are endless and that we'll never get settled in. We had a lot of good help moving in. The ward here has been very good to us and welcoming. I think we are all starting to feel like we'll be okay here and that this is a good place to call home for now. There have been some really great people here.

We have tried to find some fun things to do as a family and also to get ourselves more familiar with the area. We watched the hot air balloons launch, played at several parks, went to some fun kids play places, and even taken a few drives. Dallas really is a pretty place. The weather has been warm, upper 80's to low 90's, while those of you back home get to experience the nice fall cold weather. We still don't have a second car yet, which has been had on all of us. The boys are doing good in school and adjusting okay. Payton is now sleeping through the night, 7 hours. It has been so great. She is smiling all the time and is trying to talk. She is also awake alittle more during the day and is starting to have a more structured schedule. The boys are so good to play and talk with her and they love her to death. She is definately a daddy's girl. Whenever she cries and I can't get her to stop, the moment her dad takes her, she stops. I don't get it.

We were so excited last week when uncle Aaron called and said he would be in Dallas for the day. He came and spent the day with Payton and I. It was the first time that he's seen her. They were so cute, I had to take a picture.
